What will the itinerary be?
The exact schedule is set a few weeks before the event starts. As soon as the itinerary is set, you will be able to view it on your profile. In the meantime, you can see a typical day at Haywire Weekend on our Ins & Outs page.
When will I receive my Haywire Handbook?
The Haywire Handbook provides ANY and ALL details surrounding your trip. It will be visible on your booking profile and the itinerary will be added a few weeks prior to the event.

Can I join the Haywire Weekend adventure for only a few days?
We only accommodate our experience for 5 days/4 nights. This is typically Friday to Tuesday, so even if you wish to cut the adventure short you would have to pay for the full experience. In special cases and depending on the destination, the event may not run from Friday to Tuesday, so please check the dates carefully.
I’m having problems with my online profile; what do I do?

What happens if I can’t arrive on Friday?
If you arrive late, you will have to make the journey to the villas at their own expense. If you send an email to info@haywireweekend.com closer to your arrival, we will be able to help you with more detailed information.
I need to leave early, is this possible?
Yes, it is possible for you to leave early but you would need to organize transport at your own expense back to the airport and the rest of your villa will continue as normal.
Do we have to follow the Haywire Weekend Schedule?
It is up to you and your villa what you want to do and where you want to go during Haywire Weekend. The schedule is just a suggestion, you can choose to go to different locations on some of the days/nights if you prefer, but trust us!
How can I get hold of the photos that were taken of me during the event?
If there are any special photos that you are looking for that you cannot find on your Haywire profile or Facebook, you will need to contact the photographer directly. Their details will be available in the Haywire Handbook.
Where can I buy Haywire Weekend merchandise?
Our merchandise is available to purchase on our website and at our events.
How do I choose my roommate?
A villa questionnaire will be send out a few weeks prior to the trip that allows you to provide us with your preferred roommate.
Are my flights included in the payment?
No! Your payment includes your 5 day stay at the world class villa, transportation to and from events, food at select events and entry to all of the haywire events! The flights you will have to cater for them yourself!
Can I be refunded my money if I decide not to go after registering?
There is no refund after registration
What happens if I decide to pay the entire amount at once? Do I get a discount?
That’s great, paying the entire amount at once helps in organizing your budget but it’s just a standing policy, there’s no discount even when you pay the entire amount at once!
What happens after I’ve registered for one event?
After booking, you will receive a confirmation. Destination specific details are sent out a month before the trip.
What age group is open for the trips?
Those taking our trips should be of the ages between 24-33
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We accept credit and debit cards from MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
How Does The Payment Plan Work?
Prices are listed are per person. Each person places a downpayment to secure their reservation on the trip.
The payments are as followed:
- 1st Payment – 25% of the total cost must be made immediately at booking.
- 2nd Payment – 25% of the total cost must be made no later than 98 days before your event begins. Check your booking to see the exact date.
- 3rd Payment – 25% of the total cost must be made no later than 77 days before your event begins. Check your booking to see the exact date.
- 4th Payment – 25% of the total cost must be made no later than 56 days before your event begins. Check your booking to see the exact date.
What Happens If I Cancel?
There are absolutely no refunds. The purchase of travel insurance for unexpected cancellations is suggested.

Is My Payment Information Secure?
All data entered on our site is completely secure. Please check out our privacy policy for more information.
Can I get an extension on my payments?
No, you need to pay the installments on time, unless otherwise stated on your booking. The booking is not fully confirmed until we have the full amount of payment.
Is it possible to make a wire transfer?
No, we do not have this option. All payments must be made through our website by card.
Do I have to pay a card fee when I pay my invoice?
Yes, there is a processing fee for each payment
My payment is not going through, can you help me?
Please try to pay from another browser. Google Chrome is most compatible. If your payment is still declined, please contact your bank to check the following:
- Not enough funds in the account.
- Maximum daily limit set by the bank for a transaction.
- Default block on transfers – check your bank to ensure they allow transfers with your card.
Will the security deposit from my card be only put on hold?
The money will only be put on hold and refunded 48 hours after the trip, pending no damages.
How do I know when to pay?
Log in and check your booking information in your profile, Here you will be able to view all the details about your installments and due dates. You can also make payment here.
After making the deposit when do I need to pay for the villa?
The payments are as followed:

Haywire Weekend offers single traveler experiences but understand that the Haywire experience is 2 people per room in each villa. This means you will be rooming with an individual that you do not know. You have the ability to stay in a room on your own but be sure to know that the trip will be a little bit more expensive. Can we book if it is 3 of us?
We only offer rooms for 2 people. You are welcomed to stay 3 to a room or room with an individual you do not know. Hey, I want to come with 5 of my other friends and would like to be in the same villa, is it possible?
Yes, as long as we have availability. Please contact info@haywireweekend.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate your group.
How big are your villas?
Our villas range in size from 8 to approximately 26. We are able to accommodate your group, large or small. Please contact us if you have any specific villa preferences.
What is the villa security deposit? Why do I need to pay it?
It is used as a security against any damages caused to the villa during the week. The full amount is divided between everyone in your villa. Upon check-out, you will get the full amount refunded, assuming you haven’t caused any damage to the villa. The villa security deposit either by debit or credit card.
When will I find out who is in my villa?
Two weeks before the event starts you will get an email with this information. There you will be introduced to the other guests in your villa, as well as your Haywire Squad member and have the chance to connect with them.
What is the gender ratio?
We aim to have a 50/50 gender ratio in all villas.
Will towels and sheets be provided in the villa?
Yes, towels and sheets will be provided for each person in the villa.
Is their WiFi in the villas?
Yes, Wifi is in all villas. Can’t “Live The Life You Deserve” without stunting on your friends with your Instagram & SnapChat.
Can I connect my iPhone/iPod to the sound system in the villa?
Most villas have the possibility to connect your device to the sound system via an AUX cable. Be sure to bring an AUX cable with you.
Will the villas have air conditioning?
Yes, all of our villas have air conditioning.
Is there a safe in the villa?
There are safes in some villas, but most villas have security 24/7 so your items will be secure around the clock.

What is typical for the island?
As with many tropical destinations, less is more due to the heat. Most of our islands are very laid back. Typical attire for women are sundresses, sandals and beach wear. Typical wear for men are swim trunks and tees/polos. PACK LIGHT and aim for fabric that is cool and can dry quickly.
What are some essentials?
Water guns, shades, ibuprofen, bug spray, sun screen, waterproof phone case and floats (pack it in your luggage, the island has very limited supply).
What do men wear?
Tees & tanks, polos, shorts, swim trunks, flip flops/boat shoes and waterproof watch (although you will lose track of time).
What do women wear?
Swim wear (tons of it), sandals, one pair of closed toe shoes, sundress and shorts.
What time do the events start and finish?
Day events typically run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, while night events run from 10:00pm to until.
Is bottle service available at events?
Yes – Bottle Service is available at certain venues.
Are all events the same on Haywire Weekend?
No – Each event is different in their own way, from a beach party, pool party, champagne shower party, dancehall event, beach rave and more. All information relating to themes will be published soon, as it varies per island.
Do all events include food and drinks?
No – some of our events are drinks inclusive with SOME events offering food at no additional cost. Haywire Weekend DOES NOT cover daily food consumption.
Where do I eat?
There are a number of restaurants at our destinations with varying price points. Of course, the most economical option is to grocery shop. Food packages are also available at select locations.
Fuck food, where will I get liquor?
There are numerous liquor stores in close proximity!
Is transportation between events and your villa included?
Yes – Shuttle service is provided free of cost to all patrons attending Haywire Weekend.
What do the party venues look like on Haywire Weekend?
The venues are different depending on the event. Our destinations have a beautiful mixture of indoor and outdoor venues. Time to get one with nature.
